1. Studio Identity & Scope of Agreement
This agreement is entered into between Majaako Crafts (a GST-registered creative stationery and custom printing business based in R.S. Mangalam, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu – 623525, India) and the client ("Customer", "You") ordering customized design and printing services.
By placing an enquiry, transferring an advance payment, or approving a design proof, you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Quotations & 50% Advance Deposit
- Validity: Quotations issued by Majaako Crafts in writing via WhatsApp or email remain valid for 15 calendar days from issuance.
- Contract Inception: A contract is legally formed only upon our studio's confirmed receipt of the agreed 50% advance deposit. Verbal enquiries or unconfirmed quotes do not reserve print scheduling or paper inventory.
3. Digital Proof Approval as Irreversible Production Lock
Under Section 3 of our Terms, proof approval is the critical contractual milestone:
- Written Approval Required: We provide digital proofs via WhatsApp or email. Production will not commence until you submit explicit written confirmation (e.g., "Approved to print", "Text is correct, please proceed").
- Production Lock: Once approved, the job enters physical plate output and printing immediately. Post-approval changes cannot be accommodated without supplementary charges for wasted materials and machine resets.
- Proofreading Liability: The customer is solely liable for verifying all spelling, grammar, names, dates, phone numbers, and auspicious muhurtham details. Majaako Crafts prints exactly what is approved.
4. 50% Balance Payment & Zoho Invoicing
- The remaining 50% balance is strictly payable upon production completion prior to courier handover.
- Payments are processed securely via our Zoho Invoice payment gateway integration (supporting UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, RuPay/Visa/Mastercard debit and credit cards, and Net Banking) or direct studio UPI.
- A formal GST tax invoice is issued for every completed transaction.
5. Customer Content & Intellectual Property Warranty
The customer warrants that all artwork, family crests, corporate logos, photographs, religious symbols, and text provided to Majaako Crafts are:
- Solely owned by the customer or used with explicit license/permission from the rightful owner;
- Free of third-party copyright, trademark, or privacy infringement; and
- In compliance with applicable laws (not defamatory, obscene, or illegal).
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Majaako Crafts from any third-party claims, legal fees, or damages arising from materials supplied by the customer.
6. Majaako Crafts Intellectual Property
All proprietary design concepts, custom font pairings, layout templates, die-line structures, and creative photographs produced by Majaako Crafts remain the exclusive intellectual property of Majaako Crafts. Rights to physical printed items transfer upon receipt of full payment; raw digital vector source files (AI, CDR, PSD) are not transferred unless explicitly contracted under a separate commercial buy-out agreement.
7. Color Calibration: RGB Screen vs CMYK Print
Smartphones, tablets, and computer monitors display colors using backlit RGB light. Commercial printing presses reproduce colors using reflective CMYK pigments, inks, and foil foils on tactile paper textures.
A slight, industry-standard tonal variation between an illuminated mobile screen and a physical matte or textured paper surface is inherent to physical printing. Such natural variations do not constitute a printing defect.
8. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Majaako Crafts, its proprietor, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including event cancellation costs, venue expenses, or emotional distress) resulting from delays, defects, or courier transit issues.
In all circumstances, the maximum cumulative legal liability of Majaako Crafts shall be strictly limited to the total invoice amount received from the customer for the specific order in dispute.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from services provided by Majaako Crafts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. The courts located in Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive territorial jurisdiction over any legal proceedings.
10. Customer Acceptance Form
Formal Terms Acknowledgement (Section 14)
"I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the Majaako Crafts Terms & Conditions, 50-50 Payment Milestones, and Proof Approval Policy. I understand that my written approval of the design proof constitutes a binding production lock and that I am solely responsible for the accuracy of all approved text, dates, and details."
