1. Your Right to Erasure
At Majaako Crafts, we recognize and respect your right to control your personal digital footprint. Under Section 9 of our Customer Terms and Indian digital data protection standards, every client has the right to request the permanent deletion of their personal information and custom creative files from our systems once their order has been fulfilled.
2. What Data Can Be Deleted Immediately
Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, we will permanently purge:
- Studio Design Files: Custom CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PDF print files containing personal photographs, family names, and event text stored on our local design computers.
- Communication Histories: Customer chat conversations, contact entries, and image attachments from our official WhatsApp and email customer service desks.
- Portfolio Photographs: Any photographs of your completed order appearing on our website or social media feeds.
- Enquiry Records: Contact form submissions and unconfirmed quote inquiries stored on our servers.
3. Statutory Exceptions Mandated by Indian Law
Please note that data deletion rights are subject to statutory legal and tax compliance obligations:
Mandatory GST & Accounting Records: Under the Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act 2017 and Income Tax Act 1961, businesses are legally required to preserve commercial tax invoices, payment transaction receipts, and customer billing ledgers for a statutory period of up to 6 years. These audited accounting records cannot be deleted until the statutory retention period expires.
4. 3-Step Deletion Request Guide
To request data deletion, please follow these three simple steps:
Send Email Request
Send an email from your registered address to majaakocrafts@gmail.com with subject: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Name / Order Number]".
Provide Verification
Include the phone number or invoice number used when ordering, so our studio team can accurately locate your archived records.
Written Confirmation
Our compliance officer will verify your identity, execute the deletion, and email you a formal written confirmation within 7 business days.
5. Processing SLA & Verification
To protect your security and prevent unauthorized erasure requests, our studio may verify your identity by sending a confirmation code to your registered WhatsApp number. Once verified:
- All eligible files will be permanently purged within 7 business days.
- A confirmation email containing your Deletion Certificate ID will be sent to you.
6. Effect on Future Reorders
Please note that once your custom design proofs and vector plates are purged from our studio workstations, any subsequent reorders or reprints of the same invitation or stationery will require a fresh design setup and standard prepress layout.
