Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Dispatch Prerequisite: Completion of 50% Balance

Under Section 6.1 of our Customer Terms, physical consignment dispatch occurs exclusively upon meeting two mandatory prerequisites:

1. Completion of 100% of physical print production, finishing, and strict studio quality control inspection.
2. Full receipt and reconciliation of the remaining 50% invoice balance payment.

2. Courier Partners & Transit Timelines

To ensure high reliability, we utilize two established logistics networks based on destination accessibility:

3. Packaging & Moisture Protection Standards

Fine papers, hot foil impressions, and die-cut invitations are sensitive to moisture and handling. Every order packed at Majaako Crafts adheres to rigorous multi-tier protective standards:

• Inner Moisture Barrier: Products are tightly bundled in heat-sealed waterproof polythene sleeves or shrink wrap to prevent humidity and moisture ingress.
• Corner & Edge Guards: Solid corrugated corner protectors prevent edge dog-earing during sorting conveyor transit.
• Outer Heavy-Duty Carton: Packed into 5-ply or 7-ply virgin kraft corrugated boxes rated for heavy drop impact, sealed with reinforced filament tape and clearly labeled with "Handle with Care – Fragile Printed Goods".

4. Real-Time Tracking & Dispatch Notifications

The moment our dispatch vehicle transfers parcels to the ST Courier hub or Ramanathapuram Head Post Office:

• A clear photograph of the courier receipt / consignment docket is generated.
• The Docket / Waybill Tracking Number and carrier link are messaged directly to your registered WhatsApp number and email.
• You can monitor parcel movement in real-time until delivery at your doorstep.

5. Damaged Parcel Protocol (24-Hour Reporting Window)

While our damage rate is under 0.2%, physical logistics involves third-party handling. If your parcel shows signs of mishandling:

1. Examine Carton Exterior: If the outer box is severely crushed, punctured, or water-damaged, notify the delivery courier and note "Received in damaged condition" on the digital handheld machine or paper run-sheet.
2. Record Unboxing Video: Before opening, record a continuous, unedited video clearly capturing the shipping label and demonstrating the condition of the inner cards or stationery.
3. Notify Studio Within 24 Hours: Forward the video and clear photos to +91 70106 96260 or majaakocrafts@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.

Reports submitted with unboxing proof within 24 hours receive immediate priority investigation and rapid replacement printing.

6. Delivery Address Accuracy & Failed Attempts

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate shipping address including:

• Recipient Name and secondary contact number.
• Door / Flat number, building name, and street / landmark.
• Correct 6-digit PIN code (vital for courier sorting).

If a parcel returns to our R.S. Mangalam studio due to an incorrect PIN code, recipient phone unreachable, or refusal to accept, the customer will be responsible for actual re-dispatch courier charges incurred for secondary delivery.

7. Weather Delays & Force Majeure

Majaako Crafts is not legally liable for courier transit delays caused by external events beyond human control, including severe cyclonic storms, monsoon flooding, transport strikes, national lockdowns, or remote regional holidays. However, in any such event, our studio team actively liaises with regional courier managers to expedite your consignment.
